Fury Swipes/Focus fire is a well used combo in OMG. I've had awesome success with AM's mana burn, with Naga's net, AM's blink, and Marksmanship for ult.


Or, to piss people off, grab AM's mana burn, NA's mana burn, Blink and Mana void. Fuck their mana up shit style, then finish them.


Roof/Pugna/Terror are best heroes, for stat gains in their respective areas. Pugna pwns in OMG.




 Fissure, NA's Impale, Storm Bolt, Rearm/Divided We Stand.


For Pugna, solely because of +4 int per level.


(Bloodseeker) Strygwyr's Thirst / or (Night Stalker) Hunter in the Night + (Faceless Void) Bash + (Lifestealer) Feast + (Windrunner) Focus Fire 




agi: Feast, Frostmourne, (whatever for defence), Markmanship
str: Dispersion, Rot*, whatever, Enrage or Great Fortitude
int: antimage blink, 2 nukes or 1 aoe nuke + Brilliance aura or 1 aoe nuke + aoe disable** or 2 disable** + whatever ulti


*rot is optional, you can get something else
**disables can be nukes like slayer's Light Strike Array or be damageless like Pit of Malice




Pick Roof, the highest STR gain hero. Get Centaur's ultimate. That's a start.
Proceed to get Dispersion, Backtrack, Flesh Heap for ultimate tank.
Or get Dispersion, Rot/Double Edge, Necro's aura and stuff...


Basically, think synergies. But avoid same hotkeys. Don't be afraid of passives, since too many actives are mana intensive.


I did Blink, Suicide, Reincarnation the other day. Sadly, TC's aura wasn't there, but it was kinda pro. 




Meepo with suicide, waveform, potm arrow, reincarnation went godlike and got a double kill before 2 minutes.


I picked Bloodseeker and went with Strafe, Heat Seeking Rocket, Fury Swipes and Doom. Failed hard....

Spirit Lance + Stasis Wards + Vacuum + Chain Frost on a char like Pugna is nice

I usually divide OMG heroes in 2 kinds:
High int gain.
low int gain.


High int gain:
MUST SKILL Illuminate!!!!!!/powershot!!!/wild axes!!
1 stun/disabler (malefice/esnare/frostibite/stormbolt/...)
1 defensive skills (windwalk/blur/untouchable/spell shield/blink)
1 nice AoE ulti


Low int gain: (tank or dpser)
1 laning skill (feast to recover hp or fervor/+atk speed to lasthit and dps)
1 disable
1 dps/damage skill
1 low cost ulti like primal roar/overgrowth OR track/amplify damage if you have skills good enough to chase and kill them by yourself 

Dumping more awesome combos as I remember them.

Pugna with Harbl's ultimate, Last Word and possibly Glaives of Wisdom. Throw in a powerful nuke or stun, and you're good to go. You'll get loads of INT due to aura, and your glaives and ultimate will hurt alot since your INT is so high in the first place.

Variations of Spawn Spiderlings, Howl, AS/DMG aura, Conversion and Song of the Siren:
Extreme pusher. Super fun. Doesn't even require much mana.

A combo that I HAVE to try when I finally get it:
Rot + Dispersion - Deal damage to yourself, reduced by 20%, and deal that damage to enemies instead + 100 per sec... You get the idea. I had this combo one time and then...
ROT ONLY WORKS ON MELEE ARGH.

Quill Spray + Essence Aura.

Sometimes I go pure passive for the lulz. I even pick them according to colors;
Feast, Fury Swipes, Coup de Grace, Berserker's Blood are all somewhat red.

Hopefully we'll get -ap for abilities soon. I wanna try Rot + Aftershock.

Oh right: Illuminate is not channeling in OMG mode. Enjoy casting while running. 

The heroes I go for when playing OMG mode:

High stats: Rooftrellen
High int: Pugna (the 315 ms here is important too)
High ms: Siren/Chaos Knight
Fast cast: Invoker/Techies*/Veno*/Tiny/Naix/Puck*

*These guys cast fast (0/0/0.1 respectively), but they have a full half second backswing animation, so you'll need to cancel the animation to take proper advantage of this. The other heroes have virtually no casting backswing with their fast casts.

1 ability wonders:

• Repel (Perma magic immune - just think about it.)
• Spawn Spiderlings (It's a nuking ability, pushing ability, and it helps you farm like crazy.)
• Maledict (Ridiculous damage amplification)
• AoE stuns (Good for farming, disabling, and nuking)
• Sunder (Helps you survive, can save teammates, and it makes hero killing a cinch.)
• Invis
• Blink

2 ability combos:

• Greater Bash + Rupture (preferably on ranged with a steroid like MoM)
• Bash + Focus Fire
• Fury Swipes + Focus Fire
• Feast + Focus Fire (Feast requires like 400 range or less to work)
• Maledict + Life Break (This is pretty much guaranteed death.)
• Land Mines/Remote Mines + Vacuum/Nether Swap
• Essence Aura + Rearm (Make sure that whatever other abilities you get are worth spamming.)
• Stasis Ward + Rearm (Permanent AoE stun)
• Diabolic Edict + Rearm (The damage output is crazy.)
• Mana Burn/Mana Break/Mana Leak + Mana Void
• Suicide + Amplify Damage (Hey, it works!)
• Suicide + Windwalk/Blink (I prefer Dopplewalk so they won't get suspicious when you're not there.)
• Nether Swap + Blink
• Tombstone + Song of the Siren (All the zombies will focus on the tower instead of nearby units for 8 seconds.)

Shit you should avoid:

• All passive builds. They look great on paper until you realize your opponents use invis/blinks/disables/tank abilities to make sure that you won't be able to hurt them, then they out-farm you badly, and then make you completely worthless by using stuff like armor, evade, guinsoo, etc.
• A bunch of fun abilities. If your abilities lack synergy or much purpose, aside from being "good abilities" you will probably get trashed. If you don't know what to do, get some disable and a bunch of farm abilities.

That's awful. Everyone will just ignore you and kill your teammates. I've done tank builds and they are fail without the likes of Pulse Nova and Rot.

Suicide scales down horribly. Buy a chainmail and a cloak (950 gold all told). Suddenly that ult does like 50% less damage. That said, I have gotten enemy teams to equip Hoods on every last one of their heroes with a Dopplewalk + Suicide + Echo Slam build.

I've done:
Invoker with Teleportation, Diabolic Edict, Essence Aura, and Rearm.

It's much more powerful. Replace Edict with War Stomp if you'd like to give people the pleasure of a permastun. I've stunned people for 15 seconds with that build.

Chakara, lightning bolt, purification and overgrowth. Only problem is which skills to learn??

I find that the best build has these qualities:
-decent hp
-agility if carry-ish
-appropriate int for casting
-decent ms/casting-- (syllabear will roar for ~2 sec when he casts ravage, some other weird stuff...)

-damage source
-lane control
-mobility/escape/survivability
-decent progression (does not suck completely @ level 1, nor at level 16)
-burst
-effect, like a slow, stun, hold, etc; also things like meat hook or waveform are considered to have "effects"-- not just your average nuke thing like breathe fire.
-synergy/combo- make sure you have a theme to your setup

Some skills which fall under 1 or more of these categories are:
haste aura, lightning bolt, illuminate, burning spear, shukuchi, firestorm, meat hook, essence aura, feast, fury swipes, bash, meld (high ranged), rocket flare, meat hook,

mobility/escape: shukuchi, wave form, windwalk, blink, sprint, unstable current, haste aura (sort of)
example of a progressive build: juggernaut, he has carry skills (bad early) but omnislash (good mid)
burst: things that allow a finished job, not always able to be seen coming. Burning spear harass < chain nukes. Carries aren't good at this early (usually) but get better at it later. Inverse for nukers.
combo: Repel + Rot. Essence aura + rearm. Mines + swap. etc.

Examples of some rape builds that have worked:
-Tidehunter: flesh heap, fury swipes, feast, omnislash
-Slardar: nethertoxin, rot, flesh heap, sunder
-Leshrac: mystic snake, heat-seeking missiles, leap, wrath of the thunder god
-Dazzle: meat hook, rocket flare, wave form, chain frost

To comment on one of the above: Focus Fire is not available.


Here's some more:
Caustic Finale makes a fun combo with several skills.
For example, Goblin's Greed. Lots and lots of gold.
Also Bloodbath. Autoattack to heal.

Also keep in mind that Feast works with just about all abilities, ranged or melee, and heals you for a whole lot. 

Once got a Huskar with Overpower, Feast, Fury Swipes and Permanent Invisibility. You can imagine the fun I had.
I also once got a Rooftrellen with Slithereen Crush, Earthshock, Blink and Permanent Invisibility. Also ownage.
Third, a Pugna with Storm Bolt (Sven), Burrowstrike, Blink and Laguna. Fun.
Most ownage of all was a Dazzle with NA's Impale, Starfall, Decrepify and Finger. Instant key to godlike.

Really Fervor and Greater Bash is pretty imba, i'd like to get fervor and slar/voids stun.

Fury swipes with fervor was insane too, did roshan at lv 7 after I got vlad. 

Rylai - Critical Strike (Yurnero), Critical Strike (Naga), Critical Strike (CK), and Critical Strike (Mortred) 

sry,not possible.first 3 critical strikes are in the same slot

IMBA COMBINE TROLL WITH SNIPER:

1st skill: shrapnel
2nd skill: headshot
3rd skill: fervor
ultimate: battle trance

you have an early game farming ability and POWERFUL late game(over 9000 ias and mini-bash) 

Ranged perma-bash is also imba. A Greater Bash, Stalker of the Night, Fervor and Battle Trance owns on heroes like Huskar who has good strength and agility gain.
I also once got 4 passives to work: Bloodbath, Drunken Brawler, Greater Cleave and Marksmanship on Mortred. Pretty funny to farm 30 minutes and not need to go home.
But if these skills were in OMG, they'd own more: Enchant Totem, Blade Dance, Tidebringer and God's Strength on Treant. Imba cleave. 

 We have recently played some OMG DotA Games and I have found ppl have some great ideas about skills synergy !!!

OMG DEFINITION : (for the ones that doesn't know what it is)

A game in which there is a mode called ABILITY DRAFT , it's more like CAPTAINS DRAFT in simple DotA but here YOU PICK SKILLS ( Like impale , Rot etc ) instead of HEROES. everyone has a 15 sec time to take 2 standard skills or 1 ulti.

I just mention two of them and then mb you give some more :

1 ) We played a game and a guy chose CHAOS KNIGHT with following skills.

Night stalker - Night Stalking skill  I dont know the exact name
Rexxar - Attack speed buff
A bash ( guess it was Slardar's )
And BS's Ulti ---> For chasing ppl.

When it was night he was just unstoppable !!! he ran like a crazy horse with almost HASTE SPEED and with his Perma bash ( His hand moving in light speed ) we were just like "WTF IS THIS !?!?!?!   " But finally we pwned him with NOOB-ALL-STUN skills we got.  

2 ) in another game the guy I talked about chose Soul Keeper ( THe biggest agility gainer in the game ) With following skills.

Traxex Ulti ---> +45 agility in the end !
Frostmourne Sword of Abbadon ---> Free EYE OF SKADI 
A Critical ---> I think it was Panda's
And Feast ---> Naix's Life Steal based on enemy HP !!!

Then it was just a simple rapefest and we could do nothing but to watch him rape us ONE-BY-ONE 

We tried Blade-Mail but it was no match for him  And I was treant ( with random skills ) with 2k HP .

This was creative and fun  If you have something like this that would help + entertain ppl here , share it. 

LoL guys, I didn't knew this mode even exists. Reading Your posts, I have wondered about a really great combo.
If it's possibe to do, here is my suggestion:
Take a high int-gain hero and get the skills:
Dark Seers 'Vacuum', Pit Lords 'Fire Storm' or Enigmas 'Midnight Pulse', Pit Lords 'Pit Of Malice' and Enigmas 'Black Hole'.
4 synergizing AoE spells. If it's possible to have them all on 1 hero, this will own!

Other suggestion:
Pick a high-str gain hero and get the skills:
Dark Seers 'Vacuum', Pudges 'Rot', Elazors 'Chakra Magic' and Magnataurs 'Reverse Polarity'. You will have 2 great skills that may pull the enemies to You!
RoT will cause the great DoT. Int-hero = no 'Chakra Magic' but another great spell that will synergize.

Remember, I've never played OMG mode. Just wondered about a possible skillbuilds taht fit to selfs perfectly!

1.You cant pick Devided we stand in ad.
2.Bash/crit doesnt stack with Wind Runner's ulty
3.No matter how hardcore carry you want you always need an AOE skill for fast killing creepwaves and a suitable "body" for these skills.

The Best body for a ganker is Kaldr's because he has no animation speed for casting his skills.
Lina's Light Strike Array(stun) / Splith Eearth (lesh stun) is activated 0.1 seconds after casting it.Shadowraze is also rly imba for Kaldr.
If you want a carry pick Syllabear / Venom / Venge or sth like it - agg ranged hero with not too low dmg.
If you want a Tank pick either treant (both hard to point with mouse and much base and growth in strenght) or Naix / Tiny - no animation speed for casting skills.
