Fury Swipes/Focus fire is a well used combo in OMG. I've had awesome success with AM's mana burn, with Naga's net, AM's blink, and Marksmanship for ult.
Or, to piss people off, grab AM's mana burn, NA's mana burn, Blink and Mana void. Fuck their mana up shit style, then finish them.
Roof/Pugna/Terror are best heroes, for stat gains in their respective areas. Pugna pwns in OMG.
Fissure, NA's Impale, Storm Bolt, Rearm/Divided We Stand.
For Pugna, solely because of +4 int per level.
(Bloodseeker) Strygwyr's Thirst / or (Night Stalker) Hunter in the Night + (Faceless Void) Bash + (Lifestealer) Feast + (Windrunner) Focus Fire
agi: Feast, Frostmourne, (whatever for defence), Markmanship
str: Dispersion, Rot*, whatever, Enrage or Great Fortitude
int: antimage blink, 2 nukes or 1 aoe nuke + Brilliance aura or 1 aoe nuke + aoe disable** or 2 disable** + whatever ulti
*rot is optional, you can get something else
**disables can be nukes like slayer's Light Strike Array or be damageless like Pit of Malice
Pick Roof, the highest STR gain hero. Get Centaur's ultimate. That's a start.
Proceed to get Dispersion, Backtrack, Flesh Heap for ultimate tank.
Or get Dispersion, Rot/Double Edge, Necro's aura and stuff...
Basically, think synergies. But avoid same hotkeys. Don't be afraid of passives, since too many actives are mana intensive.
I did Blink, Suicide, Reincarnation the other day. Sadly, TC's aura wasn't there, but it was kinda pro.
Meepo with suicide, waveform, potm arrow, reincarnation went godlike and got a double kill before 2 minutes.
I picked Bloodseeker and went with Strafe, Heat Seeking Rocket, Fury Swipes and Doom. Failed hard....
Spirit Lance + Stasis Wards + Vacuum + Chain Frost on a char like Pugna is nice

Pugna with Harbl's ultimate, Last Word and possibly Glaives of Wisdom. Throw in a powerful nuke or stun, and you're good to go. You'll get loads of INT due to aura, and your glaives and ultimate will hurt alot since your INT is so high in the first place.
Variations of Spawn Spiderlings, Howl, AS/DMG aura, Conversion and Song of the Siren:
Extreme pusher. Super fun. Doesn't even require much mana.
A combo that I HAVE to try when I finally get it:
Rot + Dispersion - Deal damage to yourself, reduced by 20%, and deal that damage to enemies instead + 100 per sec... You get the idea. I had this combo one time and then...
ROT ONLY WORKS ON MELEE ARGH.
Quill Spray + Essence Aura.
Sometimes I go pure passive for the lulz. I even pick them according to colors;
Feast, Fury Swipes, Coup de Grace, Berserker's Blood are all somewhat red.
Hopefully we'll get -ap for abilities soon. I wanna try Rot + Aftershock.
Oh right: Illuminate is not channeling in OMG mode. Enjoy casting while running.

- Spawn Spiderlings (It's a nuking ability, pushing ability, and it helps you farm like crazy.)
- Maledict (Ridiculous damage amplification)
- AoE stuns (Good for farming, disabling, and nuking)
- Sunder (Helps you survive, can save teammates, and it makes hero killing a cinch.)
- Invis
- Blink
2 ability combos:
- Greater Bash + Rupture (preferably on ranged with a steroid like MoM)
- Bash + Focus Fire
- Fury Swipes + Focus Fire
- Feast + Focus Fire (Feast requires like 400 range or less to work)
- Maledict + Life Break (This is pretty much guaranteed death.)
- Land Mines/Remote Mines + Vacuum/Nether Swap
- Essence Aura + Rearm (Make sure that whatever other abilities you get are worth spamming.)
- Stasis Ward + Rearm (Permanent AoE stun)
- Diabolic Edict + Rearm (The damage output is crazy.)
- Mana Burn/Mana Break/Mana Leak + Mana Void
- Suicide + Amplify Damage (Hey, it works!)
- Suicide + Windwalk/Blink (I prefer Dopplewalk so they won't get suspicious when you're not there.)
- Nether Swap + Blink
- Tombstone + Song of the Siren (All the zombies will focus on the tower instead of nearby units for 8 seconds.)
Shit you should avoid:
- All passive builds. They look great on paper until you realize your opponents use invis/blinks/disables/tank abilities to make sure that you won't be able to hurt them, then they out-farm you badly, and then make you completely worthless by using stuff like armor, evade, guinsoo, etc.
- A bunch of fun abilities. If your abilities lack synergy or much purpose, aside from being "good abilities" you will probably get trashed. If you don't know what to do, get some disable and a bunch of farm abilities.

Invoker with Teleportation, Diabolic Edict, Essence Aura, and Rearm.
It's much more powerful. Replace Edict with War Stomp if you'd like to give people the pleasure of a permastun. I've stunned people for 15 seconds with that build.

I find that the best build has these qualities:
-decent hp
-agility if carry-ish
-appropriate int for casting
-decent ms/casting-- (syllabear will roar for ~2 sec when he casts ravage, some other weird stuff...)
-damage source
-lane control
-mobility/escape/survivability
-decent progression (does not suck completely @ level 1, nor at level 16)
-burst
-effect, like a slow, stun, hold, etc; also things like meat hook or waveform are considered to have "effects"-- not just your average nuke thing like breathe fire.
-synergy/combo- make sure you have a theme to your setup
Some skills which fall under 1 or more of these categories are:
haste aura, lightning bolt, illuminate, burning spear, shukuchi, firestorm, meat hook, essence aura, feast, fury swipes, bash, meld (high ranged), rocket flare, meat hook,
mobility/escape: shukuchi, wave form, windwalk, blink, sprint, unstable current, haste aura (sort of)
example of a progressive build: juggernaut, he has carry skills (bad early) but omnislash (good mid)
burst: things that allow a finished job, not always able to be seen coming. Burning spear harass < chain nukes. Carries aren't good at this early (usually) but get better at it later. Inverse for nukers.
